Pastor Kurt Keedo Kelly Sr. was born on February 10th in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in the admonition of the Lord under the dynamic leadership of the late Chief Apostle Floyd Edward Nelson Sr. and the late Bishop G.B. Dawkins. Pastor Kelly received salvation at a very tender age and, soon after, the gift of the Holy Spirit. In response to these life-altering events, Pastor Kelly experienced profound spiritual growth that catapulted him into ministering the Word of God at a young age.

In 2018, Pastor Kelly was ordained as a licensed Elder in the Lord's church. He has served in several departments, including Youth Pastor, Choir Director, Sunday School Educator, Praise and Worship Leader, Musician, and Acting Men's President.

After years of ministry, Pastor Kelly has become a recognized prophetic voice, a holiness preacher, and a dedicated student of the Word. He has preached in various countries, including Jamaica, Panama, Canada, England, and the United States of America. He possesses a strong evangelistic anointing, believing that it is his mission to win the lost for Christ.

Pastor Kelly is the founder of the Knee City International Prayer Ministries. His vision for this ministry is to cultivate a mantle of intercession that, through faith, brings about significant moves of God as we pray, disciple, and evangelize to build up the Kingdom of God. He firmly believes that we should only engage in battle on bended knees, according to Ephesians 6:12: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…”

On Saturday, August 31, 2024, after wrestling with God for many years, Pastor Kelly was installed and consecrated as pastor for Knee City International Prayer Ministries (KCIPM) by his now coverage his Grace Apostle Vincent L. Greaves, Sr. who is a mentor and spiritual guidance in ministry.

His academic accomplishments include a Bachelor's degree in Primary Education, Post Baccalaureate in Childhood Education, and three Master's degrees in Psychology, Child and Youth Care and Special Education. He has also received numerous honorary degrees, awards, and recommendations. This year marks 23 years in education. Pastor Kelly is licensed to teach grades 1-12. Throughout his tenure in the field of education, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of various subject areas, having taught all grades at the elementary and middle school levels in Jamaica, Canada, and the United States of America. His professional profile has been enriched by ongoing involvement in character-building and leadership initiatives, which have undoubtedly prepared him to address the evolving demands of the 21st-century educational landscape. This pursuit of knowledge reflects his commitment to enhancing his leadership skills and pedagogical approaches through access to current and relevant research.

Pastor Kelly is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Curriculum at Liberty University. He is blessed with his son, Kurt Keedo Kelly Jr., who turned six years old on January 21, 2024.
